Carefree Living Limitations

Carefree Living residences include a dedicated staff available 24 hours a day/7 days a week to assist our residents.

Spectrum Carefree Assisted Living communities provide an abundance of services to help promote an independent life balanced with appropriate services to care for residents safely and appropriately.

Services and Limitations:

Below is a list of services that we currently provide under our Comprehensive Home Care License.
  • Registered Nurse Services
  • Licensed Practical Nurse Services
  • Social Worker Services (St. Cloud)
  • Medication Management Services
  • Delegated tasks to unlicensed personnel
  • Hand-on assistance with transfers and mobility
  • Dementia Care Services / Unit (not available in St. Cloud, Brainerd, McGregor or Buhl)
  • Assistance with dressing, self-feeding, oral hygiene, hair care, grooming, toileting, and bathing
  • Meal Preparation
  • Housekeeping/Other household chores
  • Providing standby assistance within arm’s reach for safety while performing daily activities
  • Providing verbal or visual reminders to take regularly scheduled medications (includes client’s previously set-up medication, medication in original containers, or liquid or food to accompany the medication)
  • Providing verbal or visual reminders to the client to perform regularly scheduled treatments and exercises
  • Preparing modified diets ordered by licensed health professionals
  • Laundry
  • Shopping
There are a number of services that we are not able to provide, due to the limits of our license and other operational considerations. If you would need services we are unable to provide, we will work with you and/or your client representative to obtain necessary services from other providers in the community.

For your convenience, we take payment on-line and over the phone. We can even schedule payments to take the worry out of making your payments on time.

Pay Your Bill
It’s important to let us know if you are having or anticipate having problems paying your bills. You can contact us directly or you can talk to a representative at one of our locations who can assist you in resolving issues with your medical bills and answer any question you may have about our Financial Assistance Program.
